PAST Rogue's past involves triggering subjects, such as child abuse, torture, and depression. If you wish to OPT OUT of this being spoken about in threads, let me know.
POWERS Rogue's powers suck. Literally. If she touches you with her bare skin, she absorbs your memories and life force. NOTE: Rogue hates her powers and avoids using them at all costs. I will never have her touch your character without contacting you first. If you wish for Rogue to be able to touch your character, let me know the following:
POWERS Rogue's powers suck. Literally. If she touches you with her bare skin, she absorbs your memories and life force. NOTE: Rogue hates her powers and avoids using them at all costs. I will never have her touch your character without contacting you first. If you wish for Rogue to be able to touch your character, let me know the following:
-LENGTH how long can she touch you? A few seconds disorients you. Then knocks you out. Prolongued contact leads to coma and death.
-MEMORIES What memories can she get from you? Generally she pulls the strongest memories. She cannot choose herself what she gets. Any information she'd get from your memories?
-POWERS If you're a super-powered individual, what sort of powers does she get access to if she touches you? She doesn't keep them for too long, don't worry, you can have them back.
-PERSONALITY What are a few key personality traits she'll pick up from you during all of this? These traits last about as long as the powers do.
-VOICES is having your character's voice in her head for the rest of forever going to cause any serious harm to her? Would it influence her in major ways?
-SITUATIONAL Eh maybe she can touch you. The situation just has to be right/we'll chat about it before hand.
-OPT OUT in case you don't want her to touch you. At all.

Date: 2014-07-08 05:28 am (UTC)Character: John Kennex | Almost Human
-LENGTH No comas or death please, but I'm willing to have disorientation or knocking out
-MEMORIES The strongest memories would probably be:
+ the raid. John's a cop who led a raid on a group called Insyndicate. It was a trap. Insyndicate knew they were coming. He leads some robots in to go after his partner, and one robot is shot and the other leaves them to die. John loses his leg and his human partner in the raid.
+ There's probably also memories of his ex-girlfriend, Anna, lying in bed, him stroking her face. That always comes up in his memory retrieval things.
-POWERS No powers
-PERSONALITY Probably, one she'd pick up is anger. He's very angry about his past, and his ex-girlfriend. He's also kind of just a grumpy, crotchety guy. But there is a goodness, a need for justice, and a kindness to him.
-VOICES I can't think of any way it would hurt her unless the graphic memories of the raid disturbed her?
-SITUATIONAL This sounds interesting! I'd be up for it at any time as long as you warned me!
Sorry, I know nothing about Rogue, so I hope this is helpful!

Date: 2014-11-14 09:23 pm (UTC)-CHARACTER Alison
-LENGTH A few seconds, enough for knockout would be great.
-MEMORIES Big ones at this point would be Alison tying her husband Donnie to a chair in the basement and torturing him with a hot glue gun for information about what was in a padlocked box he'd hidden from her, and standing by while her "best friend" strangles to death via scarf caught in the garbage disposal. Both of these occurred because Alison suspected the other parties of being her monitor - ie, the person sent by the organization responsible for the cloning project that created Alison to keep watch and report back to them.
-POWERS no powers here
-PERSONALITY Alison is snippy, can be judgmental, holds a wicked grudge and is proficient in non-swears (fishsticks instead of fuck, "get back here and clean up your doo-doo" etc). She is pretty private about her life and very eager to seem normal, and has a really strong mothering instinct.
-VOICES Not trouble here that I can forsee.
-SITUATIONAL as per plurk c:

Date: 2014-11-15 08:00 am (UTC)-LENGTH a few seconds - i think with his occlumency it should be enough to majorly disorient but not knock him out cold.
-MEMORIES i will put stuff in our tags!! but as discussed it'll be stuff enabled by dreamplot to be relevant to her sleepwalker focus.
-POWERS i am not sure how this would work with different universes so i'll say no outright magical ability, but if you want her to sort of Understand magic a bit better/have a more open mind about stuff that seems to defy science due to it, that's coo. up 2 u
-PERSONALITY quiet and unsocial, feelings of being very apart and disengaged from other people/independent, ego!!, not very nice all the time.
-VOICES i don't think she'll be grabbing him for long enough for him to have a major lasting influence, but the big stuff is not trusting other people, hating his parents and the marauders; he might be a good mindset to draw from as a defense mechanism as he's very tactical and cautious.
-SITUATIONAL 8)!!! obviously there will be way more detail crammed into actual threads but i thought i'd plop this down for a reference.

Date: 2015-01-24 05:23 pm (UTC)-MEMORIES You know the canon!! I'm cool with whatever. His most dominant memories from home at this point would be various war heroics/horrors and the sad aftermath; for school memories the strongest are the positive ones—having friends!!!, Animagi, maps, the day he found out he was allowed to go to school at all, etc. Werewolf transformation trauma is not very prevalent in his mind because it's so routine to him, but he does have a vague time-distorted nightmarish memory of being bitten.
-POWERS I'll crib off Severus and say no actual magic usage? Also, not really powers, but lycanthropy-related wolfish instincts/cravings are a thing.
-PERSONALITY Compassionate, cool-headed, extroverted and friendly but sort of distant/removed out of fear, loyal to the point of being overly eager to please, mischievous sense of humor.
-VOICES I think she's safe? I hope.
-SITUATIONAL AS DISCUSSED but I'm also super laissez-faire about this sort of thing so if it ever comes up again in the future, you're gold.

Date: 2017-11-04 07:18 am (UTC)-MEMORIES
For his own universe: His entire race (monsters) were hunted down and massacred, including his family and (eventually) himself. Dusty hands, knives, fleeing people, his brother being decapitated, it's a grim fandango up in here.
For the in-sav: Leaving on a smallcraft from a place called the "Moira" -- a ship before Rogue's time here -- with no intention of returning for a long time... that is, until he got warped back with a year of lost time. Them's the breaks.
-POWERS MAGIC! She'd be able to summon literal bones, not to mention these bad boys. They're big skulls that shoot focused magical attacks, so that's fun. Also she'd be able to control how gravity affects people -- such as polarizing gravity on someone and slamming them against the walls. Kinda like so.
-PERSONALITY Apathy/nihilism/exhaustion, a general sense of uselessness, a sincere love of terrible jokes.
-VOICES No, I don't think so! Sans is a big dispenser of advice and mostly just encourages people to do what they think is right. She also might here him laughing if people make terrible jokes in her presence, or offer bad jokes himself if he feels there's an opportunity for a knock knock joke or terrible pun. It's kinda like having your weird alcoholic uncle around.
I'm super down whenever! Welcome again to the game! 8D
